Placing an Order

When placing your order, please provide the following. If you are a new customer please also include a completed New Account Information Worksheet.

• Purchase Order Number
• Billing Address
• Shipping Address
• Contact Numbers (phone, fax and e-mail address)
• Part Number
• Product Name/Description
• Quantity/Volume Needed
• Lot Number Preference (if known)
• Your Product Specifications (including test result needed and method to use, bottling requirements, etc.)
• Date Required for Shipment
• Shipping Instructions (include your account number for Collect shipments, Airport and Customs Agents info for international freight shipments)

Also, please advise if any of the following are relevant to your order:

• Notification if your country requires an Animal Export Certificate for importation of the product ordered. There is a $70 charge for Animal Export USDA Certificates (see special handling below). EU facilities: please provide your facility number for importation for technical use.
• Notification if your country requires CE Marking for importation of the product ordered. If yes, please provide your facility number (EU) to SLI.
• For orders containing radioactive materials (such as IRMA/RIA kits), please provide your Radioactive Materials License (with expiration in English) to SLI.

Terms

Order Size

SLI reserves the right to ship +/- 10% of the requested quantity. Orders requested outside of SLI standard bottle sizes may incur a rebottling fee. Minimum order sizes may apply.

Payment

Payment Terms - net thirty (30) days

Monthly Late Fee – SLI reserves the right to charge a 1.5% monthly late fee for any account balances over thirty (30) days.

Payment Form - payment should be in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank, money order or cashiers check or by federal wire.  No credit cards are accepted.

Freight

All shipments are shipped EXW Scantibodies Laboratory Inc., Santee, California, USA.  Freight can be delivered either “collect” or “prepay and add”. Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. (SLI) is not responsible for product delayed in transit or in customs. SLI has tested our packaging to maintain proper temperature for five (5) days (international) from the date we ship. We cannot guarantee temperature past that time for shipments delayed in transit or customs. Please ensure that your carriers/brokers will maintain the proper temperature for your shipments.

Special Handling

All shipments with dry ice or blue ice packs are subject to a minimum $22.00 packing and handling charge.  There is a $70 charge for Animal Export USDA Certificates.  There is also an additional charge for required hazardous material shipments.

Returns

SLI makes every effort to ensure that orders are received in good condition. Should a damaged shipment be received, please contact the carrier for reimbursement claims. Notification to SLI must be made within ten (10) days of receipt of goods.

Merchandise will not be accepted for return, credit, or replacement without a prior SLI Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number assigned by Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc.  This RGA is valid for a period of thirty (30) days and product must be received at Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. within that time. If the merchandise is not received during the thirty (30) day period, it will not be accepted and no credit will be issued. All returned products must be clearly marked as "Returned Goods" and reference the RGA # number assigned. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to ensure that the product is returned to us in good order. All products must arrive at the proper temperature and in the original containers. In the case of damaged containers approved for return, it is required that a secondary containment be used, such as a sealed bag around the container to prevent any loss of product. Before we can authorize or agree to any credit amount, the product must be received at Scantibodies Laboratory and inspected.

Return of custom products will not be authorized if product meets specifications agreed upon prior to shipment.  Returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge.  Scantibodies sole responsibility may be replacement of the unused product, which is in the original container.  Such replacement shall constitute the Buyer's sole remedy.

Damaged merchandise - at the time of notification to Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. the following documentation will be required:

• Pictures of the damaged goods
• Pictures of the external packaging
• Details and results of your claim with the freight carrier for possible compensation

Warranty

Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. warrants, to the original purchaser only, that all products are of merchantable quality at the time of sale.  It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to establish the adequacy of all products for any particular intended application, use or purpose.  Scantibodies Laboratory, Inc. assumes no responsibility for consequential damages, either direct to indirect, resulting from the use of its products.  No other warranty, either expressed or implied, as to the suitability of Scantibodies products for any specific application or use is made by Scantibodies.
